Yesterday was a special day for INEW, as we hosted our first-ever Education Worldwide Conference. It was a real pleasure to welcome many of you and to bring together our members, partners, and colleagues to exchange on key issues in global education advocacy, education in development, and education in emergency contexts.
We are very grateful to our speakers for their thoughtful and generous contributions. We were particularly excited to be joined by veteran diplomat and SDG advocate David Donoghue, President of the Global Campaign for Education (GCE), Refat Sabbah, CEO of the Global Partnership for Education (GPE), Laura Frigenti, and INGO Representative on the Education Cannot Wait (ECW) Executive Committee, Tyler Arnot.
We were equally thankful to everyone who joined us for the discussions throughout the day. The energy in the room and the quality of exchange made it a very meaningful gathering for us.
Over the coming days and weeks, we will be adding photos, presentations, and relevant materials to our conference page. In the meantime find a preview of the day included here. If you were not able to join us, we hope these materials will give you a sense of the conversations and atmosphere.
